About Me.
I'm a User Experience professional who loves discovering simple, elegant and intuitive solutions that solve complex problems.
As a UX leader for small businesses, enterprise software companies and Fortune 500 corporations, I've designed immersive experiences, complex UI frameworks and atomic design systems for mobile applications, business-to-business websites and complex software applications.
I’ve managed and mentored global UX teams of visual designers, UI developers and interaction designers. My experience in the strategic, creative and technical aspects of design has proven to be a valuable asset in establishing successful cross-functional team partnerships that exceed business expectations.
I've studied classical Japanese jujutsu and Iaido. Something I have always admired is the beauty and simplicity of these arts: the intense study of economy in motion, the understanding and application of leverage, and the pursuit of a sublime calmness of mind. The katana has often been hailed as the best sword in history; the painstaking effort involved in creating the sword is legendary, and the result is a masterpiece of simplicity and peerless effectiveness.
